Note: Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible in the application cycle. Applications for medicine close at the end of July. For all other programs, applications close at the end of September.

Before you can register to study at the IIE’s Varsity College, you must complete and submit an application either online (below) or on campus. The application must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee. Fees are payable online or through EFT.
Please note, not all programmes are available on all IIE Varsity College campuses. To find out if your programme of interest is available, contact the campus directly.

Things to note before applying online to Varsity College:
- You’ll need an email address to complete the application. Don’t have one? Get an email address first.
- Have you calculated your APS? You will need to this before applying. Find out how to do this.
- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
- The online application is free.
- Need accommodation? You will need to indicate that you are interested in UL residence on your application form.

APPLICATION FEES FOR VARSITY COLLEGE
Please note that in order to process your Diploma or Higher Certificate Full-Time application a non-refundable fee of R400 is required.
For Full-Time Degree applicants – post 13 November 2021 Degree application closing date – R1750 will be levied as a late application fee. Fees are payable online or through EFT.
