The SA Post Office (Sapo) will be paying out the Covid-19 R350 grants this week to all applicants who were approved by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa).

Recipients can collect their payments at Post Offices by using the ID number system, which determines payment dates according to the last three digits of beneficiaries’ identity numbers.

Sapo spokesperson Johan Kruger said payout dates are determined by the last three digits of the beneficiary’s ID number. This system was introduced in the first phase of the grants to prevent overcrowding at branches.

I don’t get my money my money is approved but there’s no pay dates
I am also waiting for my Sassa (SRD) payment). I applied in August. Received sms “application received”, a while later received sms “your banking details have been authenticated/confirmed”, a while later went on to the site to check and it said “pending”, went on days later and it said “approved”.
However, to date I have received nothing and my ID ends in 085 and the date for payment is today 19th October.
Please SASSA we are unemployed and need our money. Kindly confirm as soon as possible as I am sitting by my phone waiting for that notification. We need to eat and feed our family even with that little bit of money it’s really DOES help when you have nothing.

I got my 350 in my bank account on the 25 October, but September it’s also approved with the date 13th September but didn’t get it, what went wrong
