NSFAS has released a statement for those who applied using the manual application form at any of the NYDA (South African youth centers) in the country.
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has released an announcement which states that those who applied using the manual application form at any of the NYDA (South African youth centres) should please check their SMS or email urgently.
A message has been sent to these students. Students are instructed to click on the link provided in the message and follow the instructions provided.
Those who are still waiting to receive a response about their online application may track their application online via their myNSFAS account.
How To Track NSFAS Application?
- Click here to visit the myNSFAS portal.
- Enter your username and password and log in.
- Select the tab “Track Application Progress”.
Then you’ll see which stage of the application process you are on. If your application has been rejected, you may appeal the decision.
Here is how you can appeal your unsuccessful status:
- Click here to visit the myNSFAS portal.
- Enter your username and password and log in.
- Select the tab “Track Application Progress”.
- If your application status shows an unsuccessful status, you may submit an appeal by clicking on the “Submit Appeal” tab.
- The Application Appeal page will reveal the reason for the unsuccessful application status.
- Choose your appeal reason.
- Upload certified documents which support your reason.
- Click “Submit Appeal”.
You may check the progress of your appeal on your myNSFAS account.
