More than 40% of South Africans rely on grants from the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). Here’s how to get your Sassa Grant payment schedule and how to know exactly when you can access your money.
Sassa offers several grants in the form of The Older Persons Grant, Disability Grants, Children’s Grants and various other social support grants. The most recent grant introduced by the agency is the R350 grant.
Sassa announced that all the permanent grants will be paid from the second day of every new month. This applies to individuals collecting their grants at a Post Office branch.

The R350 Grant Payment Schedule
The Post Office has announced that they will no longer pay the R350 grant at their branches. This means there is no set payment schedule for the grant.
You can collect your R350 grants from Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers and USave stores. The grant can also be paid directly into your bank account.
